THE PROCESS…

Our Team will schedule an appointment with you to record your story and to do your photos. At that time, we request that you fill in a brief intake form (click here).  It can be easily returned to us by email or if you want, you can print it and fax it to us or mail it if you prefer to do that. We can also mail you the form if there is a problem downloading it from our website.

Prior to the appointment, you are encouraged to have a conversation with Suzanne about how to coordinate your clothing choices and any other topics you want to cover having to do with your photo session.

Also prior to your interview, Rozanne can forward a list of questions that she may ask. You are welcome to send a list of subjects that you want to talk about.

Upon arrival, we will share a moment or two to get to know each other, if we haven’t already had that privilege. Suzanne will choose the optimal location to take the photographs. After the photos are taken, Rozanne will begin the interview. Please allow up to 30 minutes for the photos to be taken and up to 90 minutes for the interview portion.

Your family is welcome to be present during the photography session should you choose to have them there. The interview will be one-on-one with Rozanne.

AND THEN….

Rozanne will archive your story on a custom-designed CD. Suzanne will create a beautiful linen-covered or leather-covered hardbound digital photo book designed especially for you from the photos she has taken. The audio file will be placed in a CD sleeve inside the photo book and you will receive your legacy gift within 3 weeks of your initial session.

“I was hoping to do this before my father passed. But it didn't happen. Now I am grateful to have this legacy of my mother. My children and all their children will be able to know their great-grandmother.”

“What a great idea. I am going to bring you to my father's 80th birthday so you can record him for all of his children.”

“I wish that I had my grandmother's Irish voice on tape telling her stories of immigrating to New York with some great pictures of her in a nice book. I know I missed my chance with her, but I will definitely do this with my father. Thank you for helping to keep our family legacy alive.”

“Suzanne, how do you do it? Your photos captured Mom exactly as she is. She must have really liked you.”

“Thanks so much for coming to our home. For years, I have wanted Dad to tell me all those stories. I just never got around to it. I am so grateful, the whole family is grateful, that he felt so comfortable with you and that you got him to tell his story. It is the one treasure we will have forever.”
